IDEAL FOR LEARNING THE HOURS
This watch was a gift for my 7 year old son. So far I am very happy with it. It is helping him a lot in his learning. He is a very nervous and inattentive child, so I was looking for a large, eye-catching dial. And this watch has certainly caught his attention. He looks at it constantly and is very interested to know what time it is, how much time has passed or how much time is left. It is a very didactic device, as it shows all the minutes and also the hours in 12 and 24-hour format. I am a teacher and, because of my job, I have looked for clocks of this type before and I particularly liked this one.
It seems quite sturdy. My son jumped into the pool a few days ago by mistake with it on and I noticed it a couple of minutes later. He took it off immediately and the watch has not suffered any damage.
The strap is made of silicone and fits perfectly on the wrist. I like the fact that it is made of this material as it is very appropriate for his age because it does not stain, repels water and does not deteriorate easily.
A good first watch
I bought this little watch for my granddaughter for her 7th birthday. She loves it. It arrived quickly in its own presentation box, and happily came complete with a battery. The numbers are 1-12 and not Roman numerals which is helpful as my granddaughter is learning to tell the time. It is also a pretty pink colour, not too flashy, and the little heart is a nice touch. It's not childish but not grown up either. She now wears it all the time. Last I heard it was still working perfectly. Some reviews were not so good but I took the risk - pleased I did.
Super practical
Ideal for learning the hours. In Spanish, as you can see in the picture, it shows the hours and minutes in written form. At the same time, the minutes are also shown analogically.
With colours. Very well designed to be easy for children.
The strap is made of rubber (no plastic, no leather, no cloth). That is also very practical for children. It does not break
It is very pretty, childish but elegant
I gave it to my son for his birthday (7 years old), the detail of the minutes written in small letters will be a great help for him to get used to telling the time, the watch is beautiful aesthetically, I liked it a lot and so did he.
Great for learning the hours. Totally recommendable.
Arrived on time. Perfectly wrapped in its little box. It is ideal for learning the hours, with it it has been very easy for my son to understand the movement of the hands and internalize the concept of minus quarter, minus ....
The strap bar broke, I informed the seller and they sent me a new and complete strap, completely free and in a few days.
Totally recommendable.
This was a gift for my 4th grade daughter who wanted a watch for xmas. I was not about to give her a digital watch when I knew this was my chance to reinforce telling time on an analog clock! She learned to tell time in 3rd grade and forgot since it hasn't been reviewed.
Style and Function: This had rubberized banding (okay to wipe down dirt, won't wear out easy from kid use and roughness). Cute strap design, hearts graffiti style.
But the WINNING Point- indicates Hour on short hand, Minute on long hand AND tells the minutes after the face numbers (ex 1. 5, 2. 10, 3. 15, 4. 20 etc). She is loving that she can tell us the time (which we keep randomly asking her, to ensure she practices it)!
Are these teachable moments? Telling time is essential on an analog clock, most places of business DO NOT have digital clocks mounted. This is a life skill.
Extra Credit: it came in a clear case with cute inspiration stickers for storing the watch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for children/teens needing reinforcement of telling time on analog clock. Happy parent with purchase right here!
