What is the largest water park in Spain?

Siam Park, located in Costa Adeje (Tenerife, Canary Islands), is not only the largest in Spain, but also in Europe. It has been voted the best water park in the world by Trip Advisor users for 8 consecutive years and has no plans to be overthrown.
Among the attractions of Siam Park -whose general admission costs from 18 euros, and from 14 euros for Canarian residents- stand out the relaxing Mai Thai River, the familiar The Wave Palace (Guinness record for its highest waves in the world) and the dose of adrenaline given by others like the Tower of Power (with a 28 m high slide in which you can reach a speed of up to 80 km / h).

What is the first water park in Spain?

It was 1985 when the long-awaited news broke: the opening of Aqualandia, the first water park built in Spain. This step was not only a revolution at national level, it was also a boost to tourism and the economy of Benidorm, a flourishing tourist reference for the whole of Europe. After its inauguration it became one of the most complete and modern water parks in Europe, with abundant landscaped areas and 10 attractions. Benidorm has always been related to tourism. In the 19th century the Balneario de la Virgen del Sufragio was inaugurated, which attracted tourists from the area. Afterwards, factors such as the decrease in tuna catches, plagues in the fields and the Civil War prevented its development. Aqualandia - Benidorm

In the city of Benidorm is the first water park in Spain and, without doubt, still one of the most popular: Aqualandia. AquaMijas Water Park - Malaga

This is the land that captivated Salvador Dalí.
This region is characterized by its proximity to the sea and the Pyrenees. Along the Costa Brava, a series of mountain ranges run along the coastline until they die in the sea, forming the cliffs that give the coast the appearance for which it is known as Costa Brava. Between the promontories there are small caves and beaches with pine forests that reach the seashore. AquaSierra - Córdoba

Aquasierra is the water park of Cordoba, located in the town of Villafranca, 22 km away by highway and 15 minutes by car. Its ample enclosure, of more than 40,000 square meters with wide and leafy green areas and large groves of trees, places it among the most spectacular parks in Andalusia.
Throughout its twenty-five years of life it has been able to renew itself and equip itself with the most modern facilities that will surely be to the liking of its visitors. The slides, the soft tracks, the black hole, the kamikaze, two wild rivers, the Octopus Race, the speed board slide, the children's pool and the main pool, which is equipped with a beach for people with access difficulties, are some of these facilities. All this under the care and supervision of lifeguards, specially trained to ensure the safety of customers.
A complete catering service, spacious picnic areas and changing rooms with lockers complement the offer. In addition, since 2011 Aquasierra has a VIP area where customers can relax in wooden hammocks and enjoy spectacular views over the entire enclosure.

Aqua Tropic - Granada

Aquapark Flamingo is open from the end of May until September from 11:00 to 19:00 and is ideal to go with children. The park has all kinds of water attractions with different pools, a variety of slides and a solarium area with a quieter pool. In addition, it also has multiple services such as free parking, cafeterias, refreshment and ice cream stands, free hammock areas, changing rooms, showers, lockers, etc.

Aquavelis - Vélez-Málaga

On the way to Torre del Mar, AquaVelis sits against a backdrop of mountains with slides and brightly colored pools inviting you to come in and cool off. AquaPark - Menorca

If the beaches are too much for you because you are on vacation with children, don't hesitate to give them a day of adrenaline in one of the water parks in Menorca. All of them have very amusing attractions that adapt to the age of your children.
